Acquire Your Own Go-To-Court Client Referral Territory

Every day across Australia, thousands of people with court matters are turning to the internet to help them find legal representation. Their search techniques are likely to be no more complicated than typing the word 'lawyer' or 'court' or maybe both words into a Google search.
These people usually don't have time to waste. Their matter might even be listed for the following day. Even if they have some time up their sleeves, they don't want to waste that time making numerous frustrating and dead-end producing phone calls in search of someone who can talk to them immediately.
In their Google search results, an increasing number of these searchers are seeing an option that gives them the opportunity to speak to a lawyer about any case for any court in Australia. This option is the service known as gotocourt.com.au.
Gotocourt.com.au is the creation of Brisbane-based solicitor James Stevens. He and his team have been refining the service since its inception in 2008. James Stevens decided to start gotocourt.com.au while operating a law firm in Sydney that specialised in court and agency work. He said "I noticed an increasing proportion of new client enquiries were coming via the internet and I began experimenting with Google Advertising."
The experimentation and refinement led to continually improving results. By the end of 2009 he sold his interest in the law firm so that he could pursue full time development of gotocourt.com.au.
Gotocourt.com.au currently has around 400 solicitors Australia-wide who service clients on a non-exclusive basis. However, the volume of new client enquiries now being generated has led to the need to enlist law firms that are willing to participate in an exclusive franchise-based platform. The objective of the new platform is to strengthen operational teamwork and to provide an even higher level of service to clients.
Mastering internet advertising techniques has been an essential element of the success of gotocourt.com.au. However, the law business is a people business. Technology and the internet is not the sole answer to generating and servicing new clients.
When potential clients contact gotocourt.com.au they receive the care and attention that they would expect from a legal professional. The system that James Stevens has created takes advantage of the power of internet technologies but at the same time does not compromise on the "people-needs" of the client.
James Stevens said "Our marketing success has largely been about getting the right balance between the technological and the personal. I believe that an emphasis on the technological alone would not produce the results we are getting."
"The whole point of the service is that the client only needs to call one number once and their representation is organised for them. It's about convenience" he emphasised.
James Stevens is seeking expressions of interest from law firms across Australia - in CBD, suburban and regional areas - to acquire an exclusive territory to service gotocourt.com.au new clients. The exclusive territories will be structured in the form of a franchising agreement. Typical matters include traffic, criminal, family law and civil litigation. Exclusive territories can be for all or selected areas of law.
Consultant Peter Frankl has been appointed by gotocourt.com.au to help interested law firms understand this opportunity. He is also involved in the allocation of territories. Peter Frankl said "a gotocourt.com.au franchise can work not only as a stand-alone practice for start-up law firms but also as an additional source of work for existing firms wanting to grow."
