GTC Lawyers acquires Armstrong Legal

One of Australia’s largest consumer law firms, Armstrong Legal has been acquired by GTC Lawyers. GTC Lawyers also trades as Go To Court Lawyers and Allcourts agency.

Armstrong Legal has a presence in all Australian states and the ACT. The firm has grown significantly since 2002 when it came into existence by acquiring a small sole practitioner criminal law firm in Sydney’s CBD. 

The acquisition by GTC Lawyers adds 65 new employees in the areas of criminal law, corporate crime, family law and contested wills.

Argyle Lawyers becomes part of Coleman Greig

Coleman Greig Lawyers has announced an integration with specialist law firm Argyle Lawyers. The integrated Coleman Greig will now offer expertise in Federal, State and International tax advice, negotiation and risk management, as well as superannuation and trusts.

Argyle Lawyers’ Principal Lawyer, Peter Bobbin will become a Principal Lawyer with Coleman Greig and lead the firm’s Taxation and Superannuation team.

On his team’s move to Coleman Greig Lawyers, Peter Bobbin said:

We are regularly appointed as key managers of ATO audits and disputes where we can add significant strategic insight. Coleman Greig will continue operations from its four locations (Parramatta, Norwest Business Park, Penrith and Campbelltown-Macarthur) as well as operating from the current offices of Argyle Lawyers in the Sydney CBD.
