LEAP Legal Software has reported that in calendar 2014 more than 1,000 Australian legal practices chose LEAP Software.

This was the first time in LEAP’s 23 year history that it achieved more than 1,000 new LEAP software clients in a single calendar year.

The legal practices include law firms as well as specialist conveyancing practices acquiring the LEAP Conveyancer version.

What is particularly significant is that every one of these 1,000 new clients committed to LEAP cloud software. The small law firm segment of the Australian legal profession is unequivocally moving to the cloud.

Richard Hugo-Hamman, LEAP’s CEO, says “The market wants mobility, simplified IT infrastructure and lower IT costs. Our mobile phone app for example, is used by hundreds of lawyers every day. LEAP will continue to innovate to better deliver these benefits in 2015.”

To support the continued growth and development of the company there have been some recent management appointments. Mark Burgess, who has been leading the development of cloud software is now the company’s Chief Software Architect.  Bobbi Young has moved up to the role Chief Operating Officer. Alexandra Kelly is now the National Sales Manager having been the Client Relationship Manager for Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Yvette Kulish is now the National Client Manager.
