Kiwi software as a service (SaaS) startup Automio has launched innovative automation software and smart document marketplace.
Introducing document or process automation into any professional workplace has been liberated for the non-technical user.
The launch of Automio’s new document automation software and smart document marketplace has the potential to be a game changer for all businesses that use repeat documentation, particularly the legal industry.
Using Automio, lawyers can automate their standard repeat documents (such as wills and commercial contracts) and turn them into self-service products which can be traded via their own online store within the Automio marketplace.
The innovative cloud-based software enables clients to simply buy and sell self-service legal products online – reducing the hours spent by lawyers providing standard legal documents and creating new revenue opportunities.
“I’m keen for lawyers to practise better, rather than working harder and longer hours.,” said Claudia King, CEO and Co-founder of Automio. “Using technology effectively, we can create revenue for ourselves that doesn’t involve working more hours.”
Users draw ‘flows’ with their finger or mouse and train Automio to ask questions and produce customised documents based on what it learns from the answers.
Designed with the user in mind, there is no need to learn a programming language or coding skills which, together with cost, are the largest barriers to industry-wide access to document automation.
The legal industry is facing technological disruption, and Automio was developed to give law firms and lawyers the tools to build sustainable, resilient law firms that will stand the test of time.
“There are a lot of lawyers seeking ways to keep themselves and their law firms ahead of the wave of change,” said Claudia, “Automio can help them reduce costs, increase profitability and stay competitive in our changing industry. Drafting tasks that usually take hours can be reduced to a matter of minutes. Where a document is bought by an end-user directly from a law firm’s store the marketplace, no extra input is needed from the firm selling the document at all.”
