PracticeEvolve Group has announced the acquisition of UK based Solicitors Own Software (SOS) to strengthen its global position and provide mid-tier firms a pathway to the cloud.
Further to its success in Ireland and a growing reputation within the Australian legal market, PracticeEvolve continues to grow their UK client list amongst mid-tier firms. A sign of their success includes recent wins with an average 150 users per firm.
Operating since 1987, SOS has delivered practice and case management software and services to law firms across the UK. With over 17,000 users and a solid client base, Graham Colbourne, Managing Director, says the reason for the sale is to ensure the market is provided great tech and fantastic service in a market that is drastically changing. Graham comments “SOS is a wonderful business and to continue to scale and offer what the market requires, it was clear the time is right to come together with the partner who are clearly the future for the mid-tier market.”
