triSearch has been recognised a finalist in the 2020 MyBusiness Awards in the category of Start up of the Year.
The MyBusiness Awards celebrate the best of the best and recognise the outstanding contribution of professionals and businesses across Australia in 30+ categories. The Start-Up of the Year category recognises businesses that have effectively transformed an idea into a successful and profitable company, with fewer than 200 employees and have been operating for less than four years.
triSearch’s CEO, Taylah Allen was pleased to be recognised as a finalist in this category as she stated that “triSearch is a great story of an idea coming to life. Over two years ago, a gap was identified in the market and becoming a finalist in this category proves that gap was indeed crucial.”
triSearch entered the legal search market in early 2018 with intentions to disrupt the status quo. Starting in a small-serviced office, Taylah has been able to build the business and grow it into what it is today. She explains that “when you have a product that clients value, operate with integrity and put the right people in place, success is bound to happen. The team here at triSearch is the biggest reason for our success, along with the loyalty shown from our clients”.
Taylah also comments that “being a finalist in the Start Up of the Year category is a direct reflection of our innovation and ‘think-outside-the-box’ strategies”. One of these innovations that boosted triSearch to it’s finalist status was the idea to leverage a Search platform from a market-leader in the space, rather than develop their own.
“By leveraging this technology, it allows triSearch to offer the legal industry an intuitive and user-friendly platform while saving on development and maintenance of software. The costs saved are directly passed on to clients in the form of low-cost Searches and Services” explains Taylah. She goes on to say that “it is our largest competitive advantage and has allowed us to invest in other parts of the business including our service and support teams”.
triSearch is now looking ahead with the business pushing out of the start-up phase and moving towards its growth phase. “There are many new and exciting services on the horizon for triSearch that will really move the dial for our clients and the wider legal profession” comments Taylah.
