Lawcadia wins prestigious legal services award in Hong Kong
Brisbane-based legal technology company Lawcadia has been named the In-House Community’s Visionary Non-Law Firm Services Provider of the Year.
Held in Hong Kong on 10 May 2018, the In-House Community awards celebrate legal counsel and legal service providers across the Asia Pacific and Middle East.
Recognising the changing landscape of legal services, the Legal Services Provider Award focuses on excellence in service delivery and client focus. Nominees are assessed on their ability to assist General Counsel with the three prevailing challenges of managing costs and evaluating value-add, talent and career management and positioning of the legal department within the organisation.
Lawcadia was praised for its ability to deliver an innovative, flexible client centric service with a primary focus on providing value for law firm and client users. The combination of robust security features, data analytics and practical, easy to use project, matter, scope and financial management tools all combine to address a previously unmet need in the market.
“Digital transformation is fast becoming a strategic imperative for corporate and government organisations across the globe. The Lawcadia Platform recognises this and has been designed to help legal departments achieve a number of objectives including reduced external legal spend, better financial management, scope control and optimisation of business processes” says Lawcadia CEO Warwick Walsh [pictured].
“We’re thrilled to have our hard work recognised in this way and appreciate the opportunity to expand our networks and establish a strong foundation in the Asia-Pacific region” he says.
A unique offering in the legal landscape, the Lawcadia Platform is now used by one of Australia’s big four banks, along with a nationally recognised insurance organisation and a selection of Top-Tier, Magic Circle and AmLaw 100 law firms across Australia, Europe and the United States.
“Our primary focus is, and will always be, on providing our clients with best-in-breed, adaptive technology designed to add value to their day-to-day activities. Awards like this provide positive reinforcement that we’re meeting a demonstrated need in a way that makes sense to our client base.”
